Resistor Color Code Helper →
Ever attempted to find a resistor color code with a big chart of a wheely thing, etc? Now all you have to do is type in the desired resistor value (it will even round off for you), then hit go. Up comes a picture with the colors and a confirmation. Enjoy!

RingSong - Call someone with a song →
A fun project I’ve made recently. The idea is you can send funny / reminder / etc. songs to someone as a call. If they don’t pick up, their answering machine will pick it up. Great for songs with memories, happy birthday reminders, jokes, etc.

Oar Run
Today I ran across a good part of Downtown Chattanooga with a teammate and a sweeping oar. It definitely attracted a few funny glances. One of those things at rowing that I’ve always been wanting to do.

Procrastination
Today I learned that a Stanford professor earned the Ig nobel prize for an essay on procrastionation. Ironically, I’m procrastinating by building an online tool to keep you accountable with your time. Well at least, until I get it working. Time zones can be a pain. (The online tool is roughly done, just final details at the moment). - Edit - it seems the online tool is more motivating...

Arduino - Read a number from Serial →
Here is a quick debugging script that reads the inputted number from the serial port, returns it as an int and you can go along without having to do the math or scan the string using a stdlib. Demos included, Enjoy! Wow. Just use StreamParseInt. This is buggy and messy!

Here’s a quick fix for those of you that cannot copy + paste on the Common Application. It’s quick and easy - a browser extension, that can be uninstalled when you’re done, etc. No copy+pasting code into the address bar, that’s already done for you.

Tests and Stress
For my last calculus test, I decided to take the test thursday, opening up two slots to take the test before it was due, either late thursday night or friday morning. Since my school lets me retake an online exam, I opted for the thursday night test. Arriving after crew practice, I was tired, hungry, and running out of time. After downing a protein cliff bar, I attacked the test. The test went by...
